The benefit of getting +1/+1 counters is the plethora of support cards that provide extra counters when they are put on a creature

The Reserved List only covers tournament-legal cards, so printing Collectors Edition as a sort of "official proxy" is allowed under the current rules and could be quite profitable for Wizards , although it wouldn't help players who are interested in playing tournaments

Copying artifacts and enchantments can get out of hand, though this is all fiddly enough that I wouldnt expect it to be too problematic

It has some fantastic synergies designed to take advantage of all the Hero cards in the deck
